Enjoy the good service, food specials and great local atmosphere. It was good to see familiar faces. Here's how the evening unfolded. We had three teams go the distance: Cherry Bombs (new editions), Breakfast Club, and Brookes.  In the end Brookes came out on top with Breakfast Club in second place.  Both teams won Happy Harbor gift cards. Happy New Year Happy Harbor players!   Despite all of this 'happy', sadly this newsletter is for the final game played at Happy Harbor. Scoring in the first half was plentiful, but even more so for O-Trivia Newton John.   They held a two-point lead over second place team and relative new comers The Lucky Ducks at the half time break. While The Lucky Ducks stumbled a bit in the second half, another team of newcomers, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, surged into second place heading into the final question, six points behind still leading O-Trivia Newton John. The final question was a tough one and every one of teams failed to organize the named American patriots in their correct birth order.   This threw the results back onto betting strategy and it was Winner Winner Chicken Dinner that benefitted by only betting five points on the final while everyone else swung for the fences and missed with a twenty point bet.   Congrats to WWCD and well pl...

Greetings all and by the time you are reading this, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!   We had a wonderful turnout this week and I am pleased to see new faces as well as some familiar faces from the past.   Staking a claim to the top prize early, Brookes jumped out to a first half lead over our two other regular teams, Breakfast Club and Dumb Luck.   Perhaps fittingly, they were tied for second place and only one point off the lead.   Scoring in the second half was tight, with our top teams all remaining within a small number of points with each other, but it was Breakfast Club that made the most of the opportunities in the second half.   They went into the final question with a two-point lead over Brookes while Dumb Luck fell a bit further back, five points off the lead.   Quietly stalking the leaders, Himelations held on to fourth place, seven points off the lead. It is my understanding that Tom has had about 57 'last games' with Happy Harbor, but now that time has actually come to pass.   With that said, it was great to see all of your familiar faces Harbor Hotties scored early and often but became overwhelmed by business and were not ablet to complete the first half of play.   This paved the way for Breakfast Club to take a 3-point first half lead over Brookes. Greetings all and welcome to December.   The joyous holiday season is upon us.   Also upon us?   A Harbor Hotties dynasty.   They led the first half of play and finished one point ahead of Dumb Luck. The second half of play saw Brookes surge into the lead with Dumb Luck in second and Harbor Hotties in third heading into the final question.
