Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor

It has been my pleasure to host Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor on Thursday nights for the last two years.  Thank you for sharing your evenings with me.  I will avoid name dropping in an effort not to miss anyone.  You will all be missed and fondly remembered for years to come.  Let's recap the evening. Three teams were in attendance last week.  Breakfast Club, Dumb Luck, and Brookes have been the pillars of the game for my entire tenure.  At the end of the first, we had cake! (Quite a surprise.  Thank you for being so thoughtful.)  Brookes led the trio with 40 points.  Breakfast Club claimed second place with 38 points.  Dumb Luck earned 36 points and third place.  Moving through the second half, the scores increased but the positions remained the same.  Heading into the final question first, second, and third place were separated by only nine points. Hello and welcome to this week's edition of the weekly recap.  The Let's Do Trivia Game at Happy Harbor in Deale is the place to be!  It was good to see familiar faces.  Here's how the evening unfolded. Four teams graced the trivia stage last week.  Harbor Hotties, the house team, was too busy to participate, but we thank them for their tireless service.  Downstairs we had Chasing80, Dumb Luck, and Breakfast Club.  Up close and personal in the upper dining room was Brookes.  By the end of halftime, Chasing80 amassed 35 points.  Dumb Luck gathered 38 points.  Both Brookes and Breakfast Club collected 39 points and were tied for first place.  Going into the final question, scores were just as close.  Brookes led all teams with 81 points.  Breakfast claimed second place with 77 points.  Dumb Luck took third place with 76 points.  Chasing80's 65 points kept them in contention.    The final category was classic brand names.  I asked teams to determ...

Six teams took part in the trivia dance last week.  Breakfast Club was the first to arrive.  Dumb Luck came ready to play.  Brookes claimed their preferred table in the upper dining room.  Daylight at the End of the Tunnel came with a new name and familiar energy.  Welcome to newcomers The Beetles and Riddle Me This. At the end of the half, Brookes led all teams with 38 points.  Dumb Luck was in second place with 37 points.  Breakfast Club claimed third place with 35 points.  Fourth place belonged to Daylight at the End of the Tunnel.  The Beetle's 29 points was good for fifth place.  Riddle Me This rounded out the group with 24 points.  The second half ended with the positions shuffled a bit.  Dumb Luck led all teams with 77 points.  The rest of the ...

No one batted an eye.  The game felt like a group of close friends playing in a large living room.  Let's discuss. We kicked off the night with eight teams.  Breakfast Club was the first to sign up.  The Real Deale was in the house and representing a good cause.   Dumb Luck staked out a spot on the lower level.  Brookes got cozy next to the host station.  The founding members of The Leitchers grabbed a table on the main level.  The Rolling Meatballs made their presence known in the main dining room as well.  The Lone Rangers signed up, but like smoke in the wind they were gone too soon.  Last but not least was Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD).
