Welcome to the weekly recap!  Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor is the place to be on Thursday night.  There is always food, spirits, and fun to be had.  Let's recap how it all happened. Our cozy gathering had four teams.  Brookes took an early lead with 41 Points.  Breakfast Club's 40 points earned them second place.  The Crazy Crawfords amassed 35 points and were sole owners of third place.  The Leitchers were in fourth place with a respectable 33 points.  The second half progressed much like the first.  Regulation play ended with Brookes maintaining their lead and all teams in contention for the grand prize.     The final category asked about SNL appearances.  For the second week in a row, the Leitchers found the correct answers and submitted a 20-point wager.  Brookes had the correct order but did not wager.  Congratulations to the Leitchers on their victory.  Both teams won Happy Harbor gift cards. The weather took a turn for the better, another lovely evening.  With a choice between live music and trivia, a good number of people made the wise decision to join the LDT festivities.  Let's recap! Six teams were ready and willing to participate.  Newcomers Cape America and Hokie Hi scored an impressive 28 and 32 points, respectively.  The 35 points earned by Brookes landed them in fourth place.  Dumb Luck & Breakfast club were tied for second place with 38 points each.  At the top of the heap were the Leitchers with 39 points.  In the second half, teams worked hard to maintain or gain positions.  Dumb Luck was the sole owner of first place with a 4-point lead over Breakfast Club.  Brookes and the Leitchers were tied for third.  The two remaining teams were postured to make a power move if they could cru...

The dock bar was packed, but the coolest crowd was inside with me for trivia.  Here's how it all went down: Five teams joined the night's game.  The first half was a competitive event.  The Leitchers led all teams with 40 points.  Breakfast Club and newcomers FAFO were tied with 39 points apiece.  Brookes held sole ownership of fourth place with 37 points.  Dumb Luck's 36 points landed them in fifth position.  Second half performances were equal in greatness to the first half.  Breakfast Club moved into the lead with 79 points.  FAFO and the Leitchers were tied for second place with 78 points.  The two remaining teams, Dumb Luck & Brookes, were both within 5 points of the leaders.         It would all come down to knowledge and wager on the bonus question.  The ...

The day was warm and sunny, but a cluster of thunderstorms rolled in just before game time.  The weather did not stop the trivia-faithful from making the journey. We muddled through all kinds of adversity.  Let's reminisce.    Five teams joined the night's game.  The competition was stiff going into halftime.  Brookes, the Leitchers, and Flower Power were all tied for third place with 35 points each.  Dumb Luck claimed second place with 38 points.  Breakfast Club led all teams with 40 points.  Even with the power flickering on and off, the game continued.  All teams performed well in the second half.  Breakfast Club maintained their lead with Brookes a single point behind.  The two remaining teams, Dumb Luck & The Leitchers, were both within 10 points of the leaders.         We worked through an e...

It was our last game for the month of March.  To celebrate the close of Women's History month, I crafted an all-female playlist for the evening.  We worked through some equipment malfunctions, and all got cozy on the lower deck.  Here's how the game went.    Five teams joined the night's game.  It was a tight race heading into halftime.  M&M led all teams with 42 points.  Dumb Luck held sole possession of second place with 41 points.  Brookes and the Leitchers were tied for third place with 40 points apiece.  Rounding out the pack with 38 points was Breakfast Club.  Intense competition continued throughout the second half.  Going into the bonus question, only 4 points separated first place from fifth.  M&M now shared the lead (80 points) with Breakfast Club.  The remaining teams were one, two, ...
