Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor

Greetings all and welcome to your weekly Let's Do Trivia newsletter.   Tom filled in this past week and ran a game that saw The Breakfast Club jump out to a huge 6-point lead at the half over second place Dumb Luck. Dumb Luck turned on the heat in the second half and covered that 6-point gap, moving into a tie for first with The Breakfast Club heading into the final question. Greetings and Salutations.  Always glad to see the crowd at Happy Harbor on Thursday nights for Let's Do Trivia.  Thanks for supporting our game.  We had a full house this week.  Glad to see so many happy faces.  The preamble music this week was all 1982.  Let's get to the game recap. Nine teams battled for this week's trivia prize.  At the end of the first half, Soggy Dollars led all teams with 39 points.  Chasing80 held second place with 36 points.  We Think We're Sure and Breakfast Club were tied for third place.  Dumb Luck claimed the fifth position.  Sixth place belonged to Brookes.  TrifectA landed in seventh place.  Rounding out the field were Kingfisher and Gilmore Girls.  The second half ended in three-way tie for first.  Chasing80, Breakfast Club, and We Think We're Sure each had 72 points.  The final question asked about 1970's magazines.  After the points were totaled, the score was still deadlocked three ways.  To break the tie...

Six teams decided to tussle for trivia greatness.  At the end of the first half, we had a three way tie for first place.  Breakfast Club, Dumb Luck and We Think We're Sure each had 40 points.  Brookes held the fourth position with 37 points.  Rolling Meatballs took fifth with 35 points.  Rounding out the cast of characters was Team Agenbroad with 26 points.  We had a fun filled second half.  Breakfast Club sat alone in the top spot with 82 points.  Dumb Luck and We Think We're Sure were tied for second place with 78 points apiece.  The other teams were all within range of the lead with the right wager and a correct answer.  The final question w...

Greetings and Salutations.  Always glad to see the crowd at Happy Harbor on Thursday nights for Let's Do Trivia.  Thanks for supporting our game.  Murphy's Law was in full effect tonight.  Thanks to the teams for being patient and flexible.  We found a way to make it work and keep the fun flowing.  Five teams got cozy on the lower lever this week.  The party was so inviting I couldn't resist being on the floor with my people.  Brookes and Dumb Luck were tied for first place with 41 points.  Breakfast Club held third place with 39 points.  Chasing80 secured fourth place with 38 points.  Beachcombers' 28 points earned them fifth place.     We had a high scoring second half.  Dumb Luck was now tied with Breakfast Club for the top spot.  Brookes was only 3 points off the lead.  Both Chasing80 and Beachcombers were within striking distance.  The final topic was inventions.  Teams wagered either all or nothing.  Dumb Luck & Breakfast Club remained d...
