Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor

Once again it was great to be back at Happy Harbor covering for Carter.  Let's dig right into the recap. Scoring was tight, with only 6 points separating our four teams.  The Breakfast Club was leading the pack, but only 3 points up on Brookes while Dumb Luck and The Leitchers remained in close pursuit. In the second half The Breakfast Club increased their lead slightly, but still only 6 points were what separated first from last.  This ensured a hotly contested final question. Welcome to the weekly recap!  Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor is the place to be on Thursday night.  There is always food, spirits, and fun to be had.  A shout out to all the education professionals from the local area.  School is out; you can officially start your summer!  Some people have already skipped town.  For those that stayed, here's how our game went.  We started with two large teams and morphed into three total competition squads.  The first half ended with Breakfast Club leading the pack with a score of 39 points.  Chasing 80 took second place with 32 points.  Pretty in Pink rounded out our teams with 29 points.  The second half saw first position remain constant; second and third continually jockeyed for better placement.  Regulation play ended with 56 points for Chasing 80, 59 points for Pretty in Pink, and Breakfast Club leading with 67 points.     The final category tested knowledge of short #1 hits.  Bets & submissions produced no c...

Greetings all!    It was fantastic being back at beautiful Happy Harbor covering for Carter!    Three of our regular teams were in attendance and ready to get off to a hot start for a chance to win first prize.    Well, two teams got off to a hot start.    At the end of the first half, Dumb Luck held a 3-point lead over Breakfast Club.    Sadly Brookes was lagging behind in a distant third place but were overheard plotting to successfully bet the full twenty on the final and pull out a win, so everything was under control, right? Brookes registered a perfect fourth round, so the come back was off to a good start.    Progress stalled though and eventually all three teams went into the final question with the same point spread as the end of the first half.   On the final Dumb Luck wisely bet zero on the final while the other two teams did bet the full twenty points and missed.    That of course cinched a win for Dumb Luck.    Congrats and well played to all! 3 rd  Brookes 2 nd  The Break...
