Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor

Welcome to the weekly recap!  Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor is the place to be on Thursday night.  There is always food, spirits, and fun to be had.  It was a gorgeous day to be out and about.  The deck bar was packed, and the live music was awesome.  All the real party people were inside for LDT with yours truly!  Here's how the night transpired.  It was an intimate setting.  Thank you to the three most consistent teams in our rotation: Breakfast Club, Brookes, and Dumb Luck.  The first half ended with a first-place tie and one point margin over the third position.  Second half scoring was equally impressive.  Regulation play ended with 75 points for Breakfast Club, 76 points for Dumb Luck, and Brookes leading with 81 points.     The final category touched on historic landmark geography.  Low or no wagers did nothing to change the final ranking.  First and second place won Happy Harbor gift cards. Welcome to the weekly recap!  Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor is the place to be on Thursday night.  There is always food, spirits, and fun to be had.  Murphy's Law was at play tonight.  The crowd was eager for trivia and waited patiently for my arrival.  Yours truly made his entrance an hour late (pesky day job and D.C. traffic)!  I appreciate the warm welcome and the assistance in getting things started.  Let's recap the results. I walked into a scene with four teams ready to tackle trivia.  Breakfast Club's 41 points led all teams in the first half.  Brookes was in a close second place with 40 points.  Leitchers claimed third place with 39 points.  Newcomers to our venue, Jeopardy Losers Club, rounded out the field with 31 points.  Your host picked up the pace in the second half.  Didn't want to keep anyone out past curfew.  Leitchers had a perfect round, and their 81 points was good for first place.  Breakfast Club, Brookes, & Jeopardy Lose...

Welcome to the weekly recap!  Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor is the place to be on Thursday night.  There is always food, spirits, and fun to be had.  Shout out to all the recent college graduates.  The trivia crowd was more intimate this week than last, but they brought amazing energy to the game.  Here's the rundown: The fantastic four were in attendance this week: Dumb Luck, Leitchers, Brookes, and Breakfast Club.  Brookes & Breakfast Club ended the half tied for the top spot with 42 points apiece.  Leitchers held third place with 41 points.  Dumb Luck's 30 points earned them fourth place.  Scores continued to rise at an alarming rate in the second half.  All teams came to play and win!  Brookes held a 2-point lead over Breakfast Club.  Leitchers & Dumb Luck both had a fighting chance to make big moves. Welcome to the weekly recap!  Let's Do Trivia at Happy Harbor is the place to be on Thursday night.  There is always food, spirits, and fun to be had.  May the Fourth be with you!!  Your host was in a mood, but fortunately it was the kind the crowd enjoyed.  Here's how this week's shenanigans unfolded. Three up and three down for a total of six teams this week.  Brookes took an early lead with 43 points.  Leitchers held second place with 39 points.  Breakfast Club & Dumb Luck were tied for third with 37 point each.  M&M and newcomers Nord rounded out the competition.  The second half began with five teams (see you next time, Nord).  All teams were on fire this half; the scores skyrocketed!  Brookes held a 10-point lead with a whopping 85 points!  Dumb Luck led the rest of the tight pack coming down the home stretch.  This one would come down to the wire.       The final category was 90's movie franchises.  Our teams know their 90's and...
